Total Quality Management (TQM) is the philosophy of management driven by the constant attainment of customer satisfaction through the continuous improvement of all organizational processes. TQM is a participative decision making process that focuses on total improvement. TQM is part of GEI's FASTsm Improvement training program. We teach the practices of reducing cost and cycle time, increasing speed and delivery, and improving quality by using tools, techniques, and standards to prevent defects and reduce waste. It works to minimize or eliminate any activity that consumes resources, but creates no value, and provides the formula for organizations to create and sustain growth. We ensure that these practices are simple, focused, inexpensive, applied at the source, user-friendly, and resolve root causes of problems and defects.
